YomiKeiPrivacy policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
The short version: YomiKei reads manga pages on your own device. We don't collect any information about you or what you read. The only thing we keep is the email address you give us if you sign up to hear about the launch.
The app
YomiKei reads the text on your screen on your own device. Screen captures, page images and the text read from them stay on your device and are not sent to us or to anyone else.
The app needs no account and has no advertising. It connects to the internet only to download its own updates, models and dictionary data. This policy will be updated before release if anything else is added, such as optional, opt-in crash reports.
The apps and sites you read in have their own privacy policies.
This website
yomikei.com is a static website hosted by Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect against abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Launch sign-up
If you sign up on this site, we store your email address, the date and the page language (English or Japanese), and use them only to email you about YomiKei's launch. We don't share or sell them. Every email we send will have an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed for that.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
